The Association of and for Persons with Disabilities (APD) is a registered non-profit organization, rendering services to persons with disabilities in the ZFM and Namakwa districts.

To ensure structures that persons with disabilities will be able to live independently.

To assist persons with disabilities to achieve their full potential as citizens and to prevent the incidence of disability.

How can you help

Motivate your colleagues / institution to make a monthly contribution to our income.

We can get your kids’ old toys, books and puzzles for our children with disabilities.

All recyclable materials, arts and craft materials, like wood, tiles, mirrors, beads, leather, paint and brushes, can be used in our activities centre, to teach skills. Any kitchen utensils and ingredients to teach baking skills, are welcome.

Choose us as a beneficiary on “MY SCHOOL CARD”.

Challenge your sports team or group annually to fund a fundraising campaign for PWD. (Persons with disabilities)

Contributions of Food, Toiletries and Diapers make an important contribution, where families in need have to survive with only a minimal allowance.
