FAMSA has social workers and community workers with specialised training to assist the community with happier marriages and families.

FAMSA Upington opened its doors in May 1995 after the need was expressed in the Northern Cape. In 1997 FAMSA became an independent society. FAMSA Upington has branches in Kathu, Kuruman, Postmasburg, Springbok, Calvinia and Prieska.
